"If truth be told - the thanks should go to you. I found this course
very helpful and I will continue practicing the techniques you taught
us. We learn to ride as youngsters and then believe, after a lapse of
so many years, we can merely jump on a bike and resume where we left
off. I soon learned this is a myth. But thanks to you I am beginning
to learn again.
It is a tribute to you that everyone who pre-booked showed up both
nights. Obviously people respect your efforts and we certainly
benefit from them. Bernie H"

"I found the Can-Bike course was very beneficial to me. Not only
did I learn a lot about cycling safely, but I also gained a lot of
confidence when I am riding on the roads. Bob makes the course interesting
for all participants by teaching in an interactive way. If all cyclists
would take this course, lives would be saved and cycling experiences
overall would be enriched. Terry N "

"Thank you, Bob and Mary, for providing us with two wonderful
evenings over the last two days. Not only were they lots of fun, but I
also learned quite a lot of new information, especially during the ride
and the practice sessions on the parking lot. Would do it again in a heart
beat! Marianne S"

" I found it so helpful. Prior to last August, I had not bicycled for 45 years!(  I was looking for an activity that had both a fitness and social aspect and the Ramblers have not disappointed!! ) After taking the intro course I can't believe I was out there bicycling in such ignorance.  I felt comfortable in the group rides but since the course am much more confident in heading out on my own on the roads around Metro. (I'm not yet ready for Hollis Street during rush hour but..... ). I'm keen to continue learning about bicycling technique and safety.

The basic information was presented in a concise, easily understood manner.  The handbook further supported this and is a great reference. Day two was an opportunity to practice the principles previously learned and was great.  All that any of us need now to feel more comfortable , is to get out and practice what we have learned and to refresh with the handbook periodically.

This was definitely two evenings well spent. Thank-you.  Becky Y "
